Juul Vs Juno: Is Juno Better Than Juul?

In this review, we will be doing a comparison between Juul vs Juno.

Whether you’re a vaping fan or a newb to vaping, you will always want to know what the best products are. Juul is probably one of the most sought out vape pens there are. That’s probably because it’s advertised everywhere. Not only that but they were the first company to introduce pods to the game.

Now that there are more products launching similar to Juul, this has opened the door for the question. Is Juul still the best? Juno is another pod system that future pod vapers are curious to know about. Is it better than Juul?

By the end of this post, you will find out which vape pen is better. So sit back, relax, and let’s dive in.

Similarities and Differences Between Juul and Juno

Nicotine Strengths

So first up is nicotine strength. How are they different?

First off if you totally don’t know what a pod is. A pod is just a prefilled cartridge that you use with a pod-compatible vape pen. Juul and Juno are compatible with pods. So whenever your pod runs out, you can just replace it with a new one which is something you keep buying. So instead of buying new packs of cigarettes, you would be buying new pods. Hope that makes sense.

When you buy the Juul you will discover that you’re limited to how many pods you can buy. You have the option of choosing either 3% – 5%.

Juno uses nicotine salts also but instead of just 2 options, you can choose higher strength options and the volume is greater. With the higher levels of nicotine and bigger pods available, you won’t have to buy as many pods so this may save you money in the long run. They are also less expensive per ml compared to Juul pods.

Pod Flavors

Juul has up to 8 pods available but you’re limited to buying 15 pods per month. As of now, there are 2 main flavors, Menthol and Virginia Tobacco.

With Juno, you get the exact same flavors. There is no limit to how many pods you can get. The pods hold more juice and cost less per mg of nicotine.

Juul and Juno both come with similarities and differences.

Let’s dive into the similarities first. Both of these devices have been designed to be compact, lightweight, and discreet. Their size is what makes them as close to a cigarette as possible. That was the whole design concept from the start. This is what makes them so easy to transition from smoking to “Juuling”. So Juno is similar in that aspect.

Now for the differences.

The Juno vape is made out of an aluminum alloy material. This is the same material that is used for steel car designs. In layman terms, it’s been designed to last a really long time without breaking.

Juul is designed to be lightweight with a battery to pod function. This makes it extremely easy when changing pods. There isn’t much information on the materials used for the Juul. Juno, in this case, seems like the safer option when determining durability.

Performance and use

Even though Juul and Juno look similar they both operate differently.

The Juno vape has no temperature controls or controls for adjusting airflow. That means every time you use it, you will need to wet the tip before using it. Wetting the tip is supposed to avoid getting a dry hit. It’s been designed like this as a quick use function. There’s a lip sensor on the tip with senses the wetness from your lips and then it delivers a smooth hit every time. Sounds pretty cool if you ask us.

The Juul however already has an internal control function. That means you’re almost guaranteed to get a smooth hit every time.

Charging and Battery

Both devices have inbuilt batteries that are rechargeable with USB chargers. These already come with the devices.

Juul has a magnetic charging dock that enables you to charge it even using your computer. To charge it, you simply take out the pods and replace it with the USB charger. You just have to remember to place your pods somewhere where you don’t lose it.

With Juno, it comes with a 380 mAh battery. What does that mean to you? Well, that’s one of the biggest batteries in the whole game. How does 48 hours of non-stop vaping sound to you without charging? It also only takes just over 30 minutes to recharge it to full battery. This is perfect if you forget to charge every night.

Overall the Juno is better to charge because it’s compatible with many Android chargers.

Charging Indicator Light

So how do you know when to charge both devices?

On the Juul, if you tap twice below the LED light it will give you 3 color flashes. Green indicates full battery, yellow if half, and red is low.

The Juno uses LED lights also. The lights turn green when it’s charging. It stays green pretty much until the pen is 3/4 used. When it gets down to below 15% battery life it turns yellow and then red if it reaches below 5%.

Bottom Line

Both vape pens are really similar but when it comes to the vaping experience, the Juno hits a bit harder. They both use salt-based nicotine for a stronger hit. If you enjoy Juul, you will love Juno. Juno has a bigger battery, holds more juice, has stronger hits, cheaper per ml. The pods on the Juno also have an open airflow compared to Juul which is much tighter.

Where To Buy

You can buy the Juno or Juul from Vapor4Life. They have some amazing deals for getting pods and other types of kits. We think the Juno is better overall and like we said before, if you enjoy Juul, you’ll love the Juno.
