Why make my own kief vape oil?

Vaping lets you enjoy THC in public without raising suspicion. How cool is that?

For the absolute best experience, it’s recommended you make your own cannabis-infused vape oil. You could, of course, buy some ready-made e-juice, but there are some potential problems you may face.

First off, THC infused e-juice isn’t exactly easy to find. Depending on the laws of where you live, it may be impossible to get your hands on a ready-made product. If you do find something, the premium options are likely to be pricey.

The cheaper cannabis vape oils may work, but are often full of impurities and can do more harm than good. This may even be the case with the premium offerings because you don’t always know what makes up their product.

By making your own cannabis e-juice, you can not only save money but also customize the blend to suit your preferences. Best of all, you know it’s 100% safe and free from anything harmful.

Here’s how to make vape oil from kief. Enjoy and thank us later!

Making the VG/PG Mixture

You can use a measuring cup to help make the VG/PG mixture.

You need to make a 50/50 solution of VG and PG that equals 8 milliliters of solution for each gram of Kief. In this case, we’re using 5g of Kief so we need a 40ml solution (8×5) that contains 20ml of VG and 20ml of PG. You can adjust these measurements according to your preferences if you know what you’re doing.

Heating and mixing

The next step is to add water to the bottom part of your double boiler, with the VG/PG mixture on the top part. Heat the boiler, allowing the water to boil but don’t let the VG/PG mixture boil (keep below 270° Fahrenheit).

Once the solution reaches about 250°, it’s time to mix in your Kief. Stir using a metal or silicone utensil. Put the lid on the top boiler and let it sit for 20 minutes. When you come back, remove it from the heat source, take off the lid, and stir for a minute or two. After that, put it back on the stove and repeat the process from anywhere between 2 to 6 hours, depending on how much time you have. The key is to ensure the water doesn’t evaporate, so keep adding in more throughout the process.

Finishing touches

Store your THC juice to use later.

Nearly done! You can now add your favorite e-juice flavor to help mask the smell when you vape, but it’s entirely optional.

Strain through a coffee filter and squeeze it towards the end of filtration to get all the juice out.

Use a syringe to insert your home-made vape oil into your container of choice or vape cartridges.

Now that you know how to make vape oil from kief, do try it. We wish you happy vaping!
